When I grow up…

A juvenile gorilla - such lovely expressive eyes. I feel as though he has just had an argument with a more senior member of his troop and he sitting there feeling sorry for himself thinking “when I grow up…”.

Produce on Pastelmat using a combination of soft pastels and pastel pencils using a reference photograph by Peter Bryan. The original image is 21cm x 28.5cm.
